Most Frequently Asked Questions
Will My Medical Insurance Cover The Cost To Get a Medical Cannabis Card in Florida?
No. Currently medical marijuana is not covered by state or federal medical insurance. But don’t worry, we offer payments plans and discounts in order to help patients get their medical cannabis card.
What is the application process in order to get my card?
What do I bring to my appointment?
A patient must bring with them a valid Florida ID, current medical records detailing qualifying medical condition diagnosis (unless we have already acquired these records prior to you coming into our clinic) and any remaining balance. We accept cash, check, and debit/credit cards.
How long does it take to get my card?
Right now due to a high volume of card application, the state is working diligently to approve and issue cards to everyone within a reasonable time frame. The timeline from start to finish is approximately 5 to 7 business days in order to receive your approval. Unfortunately we have no way to make this part of the process any faster, and we cannot provide an exact amount of time the process will take to complete. Everyone’s application may be different. If you have questions in regards to your application or your Medical Marijuana card you can contact the Office of Medical Marijuana Use at: 850-245-4657
